The Midwest Innkeepers Conference supports, educates, and advocates for the small and large independent hospitality professionals to increase their personal satisfaction and business success.
Third year we are hosting the conference and all states, not just the Midwest is invited. Especially with so many conferences cancelled in 2019 and 2020.
COVID??
Hannibal is one of the safest areas in the country with such a small amount of cases being reported. Did you know it is one of the few states that are allowed into Pennsylvania without going into quarantine? The host hotel, Best Western on the River is extremely careful with their cleaning techniques. Owned and operated locally they take the whole thing very seriously. We all need to be responsible at the conference and take take the reins individually.
There will be time and space made for states to hold some business meetings if they so desire.
This is the only recognized Regional Conference for Innkeepers in the country. Making this as economical as possible for innkeepers and vendors alike.
The sole purpose is to educate the new and experienced innkeepers on the widely and often changing hoops we must jump through on a regular basis. You will not find the high dollar pipe and drape, there is not massage therapist onsite, but you will find coffee, teas, bottled water and snacks to keep you awake and alert throughout the conference.
Not designed to entertain; we are able to bring friends together to share ideas and leave with a super positive attitude and ready to go after those new guests we are always striving to connect. We will have some awesome speakers you will not find at the national conference. This is our promise to you. Ok, so maybe we will entertain you bit. Life is too short not to be fun.
It would not be a successful conference without the Marketplace. Several innkeepers use this time to touch and feel and meet face to face the person they believe will give them the best products and services.
Since the founding this three years ago we have encouraged the attendees that could not attend a National Conference to join the larger associations as they are the ones with the teeth in the game and can easily get things done on a higher level. Bring an innkeeping friend from nearby and receive something extra!
